Hi! I have a fair amount of information about Rev. Strobel. I did not know the name of his second wife, your Israeline Flerl, only her initials from the 1850 census. His first wife was Caroline Magdalene Wilson, who died bet 1838-1840. They appear to have had at least two children, E.P. b. abt 1836 and A.M. b. abt1838. Israeline and Philip appear to have had one son, John F., b. abt 1846-47.

His third wife was my 2nd great aunt, Eliza M. Ells/Eells. Eliza and Philip do not appear to have had any children. They moved to New York before 1860:

1860 Lebanon Twp, Hunterdon Co.
1870 Athens, Greene Co.
1880 N. Dansville, Livingston Co.

According to an Ells Family History, he died in 1896.

Please contact me and I can share more info.
