I hope this information may help you or someone else in search. I found this in the Macon Telegraph Newspaper on 01/25/2006 : "Riverside Cemetery, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, first opened its gates in 1887. Since then, more than 17,000 people have been buried there. All of the obituaries of people buried at Riverside that were published in The Telegraph since 1924 are available to the public at the cemetery's online database at "
