I am researching the Rogers Family Cemetery in Macon, Bibb Co., GA. The land that it is on is now called Brown's Mount and is owned by the Museum of Arts and Sciences. If anyone has information on this cemetery or of the people buried in the cemetery, please contact me.

There are several unmarked graves. Some of the people with tombstones who are known to be buried in this cemetery include:
? Daniel Rogers, Feb. 27, 1855 - July 10, 1884

Daniel Rogers, Feb. 26, 1828 - Sept. 9, 1864
Nancy Moon Rogers, Jan. 4, 1832 - July 19, 1866
*These two are together, and below is inscribed, "Parents of Mary Rogers O'Neal"

S. J. Rogers, died June 4, 1884.
Aged 26 Yrs. 9 mo. 17 days

Minnie Mae Rogers, Apr. 11, 1900 - Apr. 5, 1918

William Newman Rogers, Sept. 20, 1856 - Feb. 7, 1934

I have learned that William Newman Rogers married Marietta O'Neal on 24 July 1886 in Bibb Co., GA. She was born June 1869 and died 5 Jan. 1919 in Bibb Co., GA. They had the following known children:
Claude Newman Rogers, Rosa L. Rogers, Maude Etta Rogers (m. Robert Elmer Liles), Minnie Mae Rogers, Ruth L. Rogers (m. 1st Luke H. Glover and 2nd T.C. Dixon), Obie Daniel Rogers, and Thomas H. Rogers.

William Newman Rogers' obituary lists two sisters,
