I am seeking info about my grandparents, Riney Merkey Smith and Victoria Silvers Smith. They are listed in the 1920 census for Barrow Co. Grandmother Victoria is listed as "Vick" My grandmother died at the birth of my mother in 1922. My mother was given to Victoria's sister to raise.(Hall Co) There was an article in the Winder paper that told about the other children who were taken from Riney Smith and placed for adoption. There is no record of the birth of my mother in the Ga birth records in Atlanta. Any information would be most appreciated.
