I seen this in the Banks County Journal Oct.7,1897 pg. 2 and thought Hey I should tell everyone about it .

It reads as followed from paper:

The "other women " buys John A. Truitt from his wife for $4,000 cash.
Acording to the St.Louis post dispatch,John A. Truitt,a conductor in the Northern central electric street car line,was sold Friday by his wife for $4,000 to a women who declared that she loved the man more than his wife did.
