Looking for anyone researching the William Freeman family in the 1820 Baldwin census. William Freeman, Joseph Freeman and Friend Freeman are listed in the 1820 & 1821 land lots. William Freeman is also representing an orphan of John Freeman in the 1820 land lot. William and Joseph are in the 1815 and 1818 tax lists. Joseph and Friend Freeman served in the first Seminole war in 1817-1818. This family moved to the Thomas Co. GA area about 1825-1826. Is Martha Freeman who married John B. Lacy in 1820 Baldwin a daughter of William Freeman? Martha & John Lacy also moved to Thomas Co. GA.
Is Nancy Freeman who married James Montgomery in 1820 Baldwin also a daughter of William?
