Hello, I need a few look ups: Richard A. Batson will, he died before 1850 census, his wife, Charlotte Batson (nee Hubbard)(I think she is still on the 1870 census for Baldwin Co. in her daughter-in-law's HH (Tabitha Carrol m. William A. Batson in 1851), and the will for a David Batson that Richard was made the administrator (?) of in or abt. 1838. Fact: Charlotte Hubbard and Richard A. Batson were m. in 1824 in Baldwin Co. GA The children that I have found so far are William A., John L. and Eli...as well as a girl or two that I forget at the moment. Also, if anyone knows anything more on this family: where buried, children, parents, etc. would be much appreciated. I'm hoping that the above information will tell me if my James M. Batson was their son or not as well as what the relationship of Richard and David was. I've been looking for the parents of JM for 7 years now - he was b. in 1825 in GA, married Mary Ann Willis in 1844 in neighboring county of Wilkinson, moved to Cleburne Co. AL by the 1880 census, where he stated that his father was b. in VA and his mother in GA, and then I lose track of him. Thanks fo rany and all help. You may contact me at ckyddle1@aol.com or post to this board. Cathy Pickard (nee Batson) Marshall, VA Notify Administrator about this message?
