Perhaps he is related to my Michael Harvey and Mary Clowers. Michael's father was also Michael Harvey, b 1755 in Baldwin Co, GA, and his mother was Rebecca Hawkins b abt 1759.

She was apparently on the 1820 Baldwin Co census, as was also an Isaac Harvey and a Stephen Harvey.

The Michael who married Mary Clowers had apparently moved to Lawrence Co, MS by 1814, if it is true that their son Michael who was born that year was actually born in MS.

Michael Harvey and Mary Clowers also had a daughter named Ruth who was born February 15, 1819 in Pike Co MS, which I believe grew out of early Lawrence Co. I am descended through Ruth.

Apparently there were some Colemans in the area; I am also descended from Thomas Coleman Ray (who married Ruth Harvey's daughter Mary Ann Walker)who were in the Lawrence/Pike/Copiah Co area.

The tendency in this family seemed to be to name children after Baptist ministers and admired neighbors.
