John CONN, May Farmer Conn Wood, E. Pierce Wood

Searching for information on John Conn, Jr., who died during WWII. If I remember correctly, he was a Navy Lieutenant. He was the son of John Conn, Sr. and May Farmer Conn Wood. May's second husband was Edwin Pierce Wood of Sandersville.

May was my mother's aunt. She died in 1953 and is buried in Memory Hill Cemetery next to her first husband. There is a gravestone there for their son, John, but I was told as a young child that he was buried at sea during the war.

I was named for John Conn, Jr. and E. Pierce Wood. I'd love to correspond with anyone who has information on John Jr. or Sr., Aunt May, or Uncle Pierce.
