Rick, just saw your query of 16 April 2000. My gr, gr, gr grandfather was a Gordon C. Musgrove, b. ca. 1821 in Ga. His father was John Musgrove, b. ca. 1800, m. Mary Collins. Gordon C. Musgrove married Martha Ann Collins ca. 1844. They were found in the Jasper County. Tx 1850 census, hs. #131. I think they also apprared in the 1860 Jasper Co., Tx census.

I do not know how many Gordon Musgroves there were. I never have found Gordon Musgrove/Lizzie Beth Jones Gryan.
Don't know whether this will help you, but hope so.

My mother was a Musgrove.

Alice
