ALLEN, Joseph & Alexander (1800's)

Hi,

I am looking for info on 2 brothers, Joseph and Alexander Allen. Alexander was born in 1839 and Joseph was born sometime between 1838-1840. They grew up in Baker/Mitchell County, GA. They fought in the same regiment in the Civil War. After the war, Alex moved on to TX, and Joseph moved on to FL. I think Joseph was a j.p. in Wacissa, Jefferson County, FL. Alex was a carpenter in Texarkana, Bowie County, TX. Alex lived long enough to get a Civil War pension, and Joseph was a witness to Alex's service in his pension application. I have ALex's death certificate but his son didn't put Alex's parents names on it! I am hoping to find someone related to either Alex or Joseph who already has the info, or who knows Joseph's date of death so I can get Joseph's death certificate.

Thanks a bunch! Kelley
