I am seeking information on the mixed-race male children of Lucy Kidd. a former slave, who was born in 1840 in GA. Lucy had three boys and a girl and they are all listed in the 1870 census for Baker County. The boys' names were George Kidd (b. 1868), William Kidd (b. 1863) and Simon Kidd (b. 1859).
Their bloodline can be traced to the following towns or counties in GA: Stewart, Lumpkin, Dougherty, Mitchell. There is also a possibility that George may have been separated from his mom and was living in the state of Virginia by the 1880 census. George would have been 12 at that time.
Their sister's name was Alice and I am descended from her but we would like to know what happened to her brothers. Any information you have or believe may be helpful would be appreciated.
