Thank you for your reply. I have a time line for my George Brittain/Britton. He died before 1830 when his widow was head of household in 1830 in Perry Co., AL. My ancestor was born in 1825 and the lottery date was around 1820. My ancestor shows that he was born in AL. George and Nancy Brewer were married in Oglethorpe Co., GA in 1800. Obviously there were minor children. I'm searching for some Orphan's minutes.
