The Walters family came to Robeson County, North Carolina in 1794 and settled on the Lumber River at Princess Anne. Since that time they have intermarried with countless other families of Robeson.
Warwick, Lewis, Page, Grimsley, Lowe, Loe, Purvis, Leggett, Floyd, Bullock, Barnes, Nye, Williamson, Andrews, Barfield, Bass, Britt, Prevatte, Wynn, Campbell, Flowers, Griffen, Nichols, Hardin, Rhodes, Harrington, Herring, Ivey, Jenkins, Jerrigan, Johnson, Lawson, Shepperd, Bass, Sealey, Regan, Brown just to name a few

The Descendants of William & Celia Walters
will have their reunion Saturday, May 5, 2007
from 10am until at Lumber River State Park,
