To go along with your brick wall...I don't have anything "concrete" yet. But, I will keep you posted. A great aunt on my paternal grandmother's side (Bennett), married a Bowen and that would have been around 1900. When I found the deed that mentioned Elijah Bowen, I realized that the relationship between all of my Georgia relatives went back a lot further than I thought. Bowen was living next to Tyre (early 1800's, 4th great grandfather's family)and a few generations later (a hundred years), one Bennett sister (my grandmother) marries a Tyre and another marries a Bowen! I am searching all angles! Any info or help is greatly appreciated.
