I am a distant relative of a Mary Bowen. I don't know much about her other than she was married to John Douglas and had a daughter named Matilda Elizabeth Douglas. Elizabeth Douglas is buried in Pine Level Cemetary in Alma, GA and was the wife of John McLellan, one of the early pioneers in Bacon County, GA.

What information do you have on the Bowen's that might've been in the area? I'm currently hitting a brick wall and would love to exchange info with you if it matches.
