I have a William Slee who Married Fanny Fry, and they lived on Fanny Fry's father's farm in Devonshire (Sutton or Sutcombe). Fanny Fry died at the age of 32 their son William Henry Slee stayed on his grandfathers farm and his father William Slee Sr. Re-married. Perhaps this is why there is confusion over the William Slee. William Henry Slee Jr. came to Canada (Galt Ontario) in 1867 and Married Elizabeth Kempthorn.
