My undocumented listing for children of Thomas FURNESS born 1707 England married 23 April 1729 to Rebecca ATKINSON died 3 July 1762 at Wigton, Cumberland, England are:

I. Mary FURNESS born 4 January 1729/30 at Wigton, Cumberland, England.

II. Robert FURNESS born 8 November 1730 at Wigton, Cumberland, England

III. Joseph FURNESS born 22 December 1732 at Wigton, Cumberland, England; died 7 March 1779

IV. William FURNAS (no information)

V. John FURNESS born 5 March 1736 at Standing Stone, Cumberlandshire, England who married Mary Wilkinson

VI. Thomas FURNAS (twin) born 26 December 1738 at Standing Stone, Cumberlandshire, ENG

VII. Jonathan FURNAS (twin) born 26 December 1738 at Standing Stone, Cumberlandshire, England

VIII. Sarah FURNESS born 18 August 1744 at Cumberland, England and died 30 October 1744.

John Furness, the fifth child, and Mary Wilkinson were married in the Friends Meeting House at Standing Stone, England, which has since been removed to the town of Wigton. In October of the same year, 1762, they embarked for Charlestown Harbor, South Carolina, North America, arriving February 18, 1763. Two days after the ship cast anchor and while still aboard the ship, was born their son, Joseph FURNAS.

The twin brothers of John, (THOMAS and JONATHAN) also sailed to this same harbor.

I would love to know more of the twins, Thomas and Jonathan.
Did they marry and have families?
Where did they settle?
Were they Quaker? Did they remain Quaker?
Does anyone have the name of the ship on which Joseph was born and the family arrived?

Thank you for any help you can give me.
Lurose Landers
