I am a member of the Furnas family. This is through John B and Ruth Cook. They had a son, Joseph. Joseph married Elizabeth Ballard and their Children were: Sarah b 1/17/1829; Ahira B b 1/13/1831; Samuel b 1/14/1833 and Orlando b 10/8/1835. I am related to Orlando. Orlando m Rebecca Ross their children were: Sarah b 5/20/59; Cyrus b 2/3/1861; Henry Ezra b 6/1/1863; Joseph b 8/17/1866; Lucy Mary b 7/4/1873 and Ruth Ellen (my grandmother) b 11/16/1869. Ruth m Samuel Hayes and their Children were: Orlando b1889 d1890; Lucy L b 1894; Flora M b 1894 and Herman M b 5/16/1900 (my father).
