Littleton and Amy FURNAS

I am looking for information on Littleton (vitals unknown) and Amy FURNAS (1778 CT-1862) of Tompkins Co., NY. I have seen the name listed as FURNSS, FURNACE and FORREST. They had at least two children, Isaac T. (1802-1811) and Adelia (1804 MD-1878). The family had arrived in the Danby area of Tioga Co., NY (which would become part of Tompkins Co in 1822) by 1811 as Isaac is buried in a local cemetery there. Adelia married John H. CLARK (1800-1855), but am unsure of the marriage date as Adelia was listed as a Forrest in the 1850 census in her mother's household. John H. and his children, Littleton F.(1824-1861)and Sarah Louisa (1829-?) were also in this household. Given the unusual name of Littleton of both the father of Adelia and Littleton Clark, I would imagine that John H. and Adelia were married many years before. If this is not the case then I can only surmise that John had married a sister of Adelia and then married Adelia after 1850. She is mentioned as Adelia CLARK in the will of her father-in-law, which was written in 1856. Sarah Louisa a.k.a. Louisa married Cornelius PUGSLEY. Thanks for any help in illuminating this family's history.
