Re.... "I have a pal that I mentioned this interest to and who wants to connct to you on the internet. My freid from back in Stockton Jr. High days is Doug Purl. He said you two were the bullwork of the football team at J.C."

Remember Doug but it was from Stockton College High School. I went to Edison Junior High and had to leave town in a hurry after 12th grade graduation so didn't go to the junior college phase of Stockton College. If "bullwork of the football team" means we were a couple of the uglier, slower linemen wearing the smellier football pads who were chasing fleet halfbacks in tight fitting pants around the field, that was us.
