All I have is that my gradmother's family info was from the 1881 Canadian census. It states the following from the Canterbury, York,New Brunswick census.

John Furlong M Male Irish 53 N.B.New Brunswick, Teacher, Methodist.
Lousia Furlong M Female Irish 39 N.B. New Brunswick Methodist.
Sophia Furlong Female 19 New B., Methodist, My Grandmother

Lousia Furlong " 15 " " " "
Emma " " 12 " " " "
John " male 9 " " " "
