Thank you so much for the new info! I had gotten the names and some dates of birth for 7 of Thomas W. & Elizabeth Jordan through Stephen Trent Seames at the Portland Public Library in ME. He sent me a copy of an article his uncle, Prof. A. E. Verrill (1839-1926) of Yale Univ. had published in editions of the Oxford County Advertiser (available at the Maine Historical Soc., Portland, ME. The copy claims to be "Excerpts From RECOLLECTIONS OF EARLY SETTLERS OF GREENWOOD by Professor Addison Emery Verrill". I'll have to re-read the article and see if there's a mention of Reuel W., William or Reuel A.My family line descends through Thomas W.'s son, Benjamin.Which of Thomas's children do you descend from?
