Thanks, so much. I knew Romaine as well. My Grandfather's sister. My Grandmother(his wife)is Anna Lee Pangle. Her mother was a Hockman, and I think there were some Hammond and Painters in there down the line from her. My grandmother said she was related to the Pitmans as well.

She is 90 and was born in Lebanon Church. My Grandfather has 1 brother's still living, Johnny, he lives in Martinsburg, WV.

My grandfather's father(Frank)'s sister named Nannie married a Wilberger. Making the Wilbergers his first cousins. Frank's sister Mabel and Nellie married two Wakeman brothers.

I never realized the Swiss influence. Both my father and grandfather thought they were german.

How can I buy some of your books? How are you related to Pearl Bly? My grandmother remembers a big field he had where they had some festivals.
