Looking for information on the Funk Line in New York City Area. My grandfather was Frederick W Funk JR married to Margaret Hayes. They lived in Elmont New York. They had four children Frederick Jr, Dorothy, Marrion and my father Gerard Funk. My grandfathers father was Frederick W Funk married to a Rebecca Phealin. He had two brothers named Joseph and lester and two sisters named Minga and Letti. I have no information as to where they may have moved to. Minga married into the Hayes family of Flushing New York. Yes they were related to my gandmother who was a Margaret Hayes. Minga left her husband while he was overseas fighting in World War 1 for another man. The family occupation at that time that of a butcher and the family business was in Brooklyn New York.
