Joseph (Josef) Funk b: 20 Jan 1851 in (Hohenstadt or Schechingen), Wurtemberg, Germany married Franziska Metzger b: Feb 1851(Hohenstadt or Schechingen). Emigrated to USA and m: 1878 in Philadelphia, PA.
Six children: Anna Marie b: 25 Apr 1878, Joseph b: 25 Nov 1879, Alphonsus A. b: 02 Aug 1891, Francis Lawrence b: 29 Jan 1895, Franziska b: Apr 1883, Catherine P. b: Jun 1889. (3 priests & 1 nun)
May also have relatives in Patchogue (Long Island), NY
