Searching for information on U. (Ulyssis) Samuel Funderburk born 14 June 1862 in Farmersville Louisiana - died 28 December 1905 in Murchison (Henderson County) Texas. Sam was a farmer and a Baptist-his father (unknown) was a Confederate Soldier. He married Mattie Armstrong/Wilson 28 July 1887 Anderson County Texas. Known Children:

Texas (2) William Thomas (Tommy) Funderburk born March 1889 died OPct. 1907 (3) Sarah Idell Funderburk born 20 Oct 1891 Tennessee Colony Tx (Anderson County) died 8 Aug 1970 West Columbia Texas- married Lynn Monroe Trull - ((4)Samuel U. Funderburk born 1898 married Annie Bailey in Sweeney Texas.(5) Lena Jane (Marie) Funderburk born 1901 married (1) Albert Evans (2) C.D. Green. (6) James Whitcomb Riley born March 1908 died 1910 - Quitman (Wood Co.) Texas he was the only child of her third marriage to L.A. Riley in 1907. Any information on these children and U. S.
