According to Dr. Guy's book, Robert Alsey Funderburk was born about 1809, and died after 1861 in GA. Only date for Elizabeth is probable date of birth, 1809. Notes state "Alsa" m. Elizabeth in Jones Co. 1.28.33, just 10 mos. after his brother Bryant m. Jane. Confederate records: R.A. Funderburk, Co. H 3rd GA Cav., Pvt. He may have been killed in the war, since nothing else is heard of him.
