Why is there so little on the Illinois Funderburks, specifically the Sangamon County ones? My grandfather was Russell Jay Funderburk. Died (suicide) in 1976. Had 4 kids, John, Russell, Sharon (my mother - married Daniel Edgar Richey in 1962 - had 7 kids) and Ruth Ann. Mom says she doesn't know anything about his lineage, even though she had/has both books (they did not get along). Can anyone help me find my way back to Devauld? At least I know he was the correct brother.
