I'm not sure what religion Ellen Fulton was, but her daughter, Elizabeth Taylor, my grandmother was Episcopal. The only record I have for the marriage of Ellen Fulton and William Taylor is on the pension record. It states that she married William Taylor in Callan, Ireland on Nov. 28, 1870 by the Rev. ? Ward. And the only record of her father, George Fulton is on her death record with no mother listed.

Not sure where in Ireland George Fulton was born! I know he owned property and that he was a Naval Pensioner. And the William Fulton who died in 1771 can't be his father. And seeing that I can't find any other Fultons in Kilkenny; I have to think he came there from somewhere else. Maybe Dublin? Not sure!

William Taylor who married Ellen Fulton was also from Callan; his father was John Taylor was from Callan and his mother, Sarah was from Dublin.
