Wait, wait ... don't go yet.

Was Ellen (Fulton) Taylor a Catholic or a Protestant?

You found the marriage of William Fulton and Elizabeth Dolland, 7 Nov 1748, and you mention "Ossory" ... Callan Parish is within the Ossory Diocese of Co. Kilkenny, Ire. Mrs. Elizabeth (Dolland) Fulton asked to be buried in the Freshford Parish cemetery, which is also located in the Ossory Diocese, Co. Kilkenny, Ire.

Who recorded the marriage of Ellen Fulton, daughter of George Fulton, and William Taylor, on 28 Nov 1870?

If it was a Catholic marriage, the Ossory Diocesan Office on James Street in Kilkenny might be a good resource.

If they're not Catholic, well, that's another story.
