Hi Patrice, it's me again, Ruth Allard. I have found out more "confusing information" about my grandfather's parents. My grandfather, Greenland Preston Fulton, died in 1946. Somewhere along the way, I was given a copy of his funeral book, but that was before I started doing any genealogy work. Here is the problem, I identified my grandfather's parents as T.W. and Pernetta Fulton in the 1900 Census, because he was listed as "Preston" and one of his sister's names was given to me as Genetta. Also, his date of birth was just a year off, and as we both know the Census taker's sometimes got that wrong. I was never able to locate anything else on T.W. (or possibly F.W., or F.M.) and Pernetta after that Census. Then, in his funeral book his parents were listed as Frank Fulton (B: 12/08/1852; D: 12/22/1921) and Mary Burley Fulton (B: 11/28/1865, D: April 8, 1913). In the area of the funeral book where the relatives signed that attended his funeral there was listed a Genetta Coleman (which I knew about, but have found nothing on). There were also some other Fulton's that signed the book, but I hesitate to list them in this venue. If you will contact me at my email, I will be happy to send them to you. My email is wesbuffy@att.net. Thank you for any and all of the assistance that you have given to others over the years. I do look forward to hearing from you.
