I am no longer confident of anything in the Fullilove lines regarding SILAS. There are no hard records existing which confirm or deny his existence. The original source was a letter written by James Greer Fullilove (1809-1897) in which he makes the recollection that his Grandfather had a brother named SILAS. The letter was written when he was in his eighties. This was the source of subsequent lineages which mention John and his brother SILAS. It is likely that John Fullilove was somehow connected to Anthony Fullilove and the Kentucky line through Thomas Fullilove, but again there is no prove for this connection either.
