African-American

With some of the Fullilove being African-American, Is it possible that some of the Black (African-American) women were impregnated by a male Fullilove? Back in the slave days, there were a lots of black women that had babies that was half white and half black. You know that men's will be men's and boys will be boys. Have any of you white men met any African-American by the name of Fullilove that was light completion? To your knowledge, did any of the Fullilove have slaves during the slave days? You may have some African-American that are kin to you and that is why I'm bringing up the Y-DNA test. If some of the white Fullilove and some of the African-American would have their Y-DNA tested, it might would find the answer. The Y-DNA is carried by the male only. Another word, a black man can look black but his Y-DNA would show up being white.

Now the next question would be to get a Fullilove African-American to get the test. It may be if you could find one that is interested in genealogy, they would agree to the test. All go together, ya'll might be able to get a reduce price. I know you can if you go with Family Tree DNA.

Yes it is true that some of the slaves took the surname of their owners.
