Danny, we may have connected before about "Fullilove" matters. Are you related to Roger Fullilove? He is the foremost authority on the Fulliloves from your side of the pond. Harry Fullilove was a preacher who died about a year ago. I think Colin Fullilove was his son, a missionary. I can confirm that the Fulliloves definitely owned slaves and that the slaves did keep the name and had many descendants. The earliest Fullilove we know about in America was a Thomas Fullilove who appears in Virginia about 1702. All of the American Fulliloves who did not immigrate here later from England are descended from two men, John Fullilove who married Henrietta Tatum and Anthony Fullilove who married Elizabeth Murphy Lawrence. They were both probably grandsons of the previously mentioned Thomas Fullilove. These two men account for probably 95% of the white Fulliloves in America today.
