Seeking information on John Fulkerson was born in 1842 in Ohio. He was the son of Hyram and Angeline J. (Beardsley) Fulkerson. John married Mahala Clawson in 1866 in Butler County, Oh.
John and Mahala lived for a while in Clinton County, Indiana where at least one of there children was born. They eventually moved to Clay County, Illinois where Mahala died in 1873. An old letter notes that John moved "back to Indiana" after Mahala's death. He possibly moved back to Clinton County, Indiana.
I am trying to find out what happened to John after Mahala died. Any information would be very much appreciated.
