Tigger, Thomas Fulford was in and out of the Edenton area either having owned or mastered a ship that was hauling tobacco for NC planters to VA. I do not know where he lived. I have a suspicion that Thomas may have been a son of a Maurice Fulford who owned land around Dare/Currituck
/old Albemarle Co. NC, in the late 1600s or early 1700s. I am also thinking that there may have been three Fulford brothers who migrated into eastern NC. Have you come across anything like this in your research, or are you still trying to find your Thomas (1720)? There is an old family story passed down in my family about "three brothers who came to eastern NC..."
