Kent Fulcher 11/21/07
Hi Kent, I am a Fulcher from Sth. Island Alexandra.
My father was James Fulcher. We came from sheffield in England. My grandfather was Robert Francis Fulcher.Born in
Sheffield 1879, his parents were John Robert and Hannah nee
Bowden or Boden. My Grandfather Robert emigrated to N.Z.
around 1902 and married my grandmother Bridget, but on
my dads birth cert. my grandmother comes up as Mary Ryan!
Dad always called his mother Biddy. Will have to look into that one later. My dad had 6 brothers and sisters,Harry,
Robert,who was a n.z. featherweight boxing champ in n,z,Mick,Hazel,Anne, and Adelaide,which i have discovered
is a family name.My grandfather had a sister adelaide,
who died at age 2 and then had another Adelaide born in 1881. I have tracked her down to marrying a Herbert Warricker in Essex. There was a large family 15 altold
but 5 died from measles epidemic in 1875/76.
Names are Alexander,James,Catherine, Emily,George,William
Fredrickand a baby unnamed as at 1891 census 1 week old.
I am trying to track down some descendants but have hit a
brick wall. They all lived in Sheffield Essex area.
At 24 Blucher st Attercliffe, then moved to Albert Rd.
in Essex.Hope you can make something of this info. and
maybe there might be a connection.Kay
