Doshia Fulcher, James Wilkerson, Webster County Mississippi

Is anyone familiar with someone called "Doshia Fulcher"? She would have been born abt. 1884 in Mississippi and married James Tomas Wilkerson abt. 1908. They would have settled in Webster County, Mississippi. My g-grandfather, James T. Wilkerson, Jr., wrote on his social security application that Doshia was his mother, but I have not had any luck finding out where she was born or who her parents were. The family story that has been passed down is that Doshia was a Native American on the Trail of Tears. JT Wilkerson met her in Vicksburg and married her. Does this ring true with you? If so, please let me hear from you.
