I am just starting to look for information on my family, and am also looking for any Furhman family members related to Agatha Fuhrman who emigrated to the United States at the port of Philadelphia in the late 1800's. In the US, she met and married Adam Theodore Bachman who also came from Germany, probably from Baden-Baden.
Agatha and Adam are two of my great grandparents.
Agatha had a brother Gus who left Germany for California. He and Agatha were two of three children born to Norbert and Rose Fuhrman.
The names are spelled according to the only records I have. The original spellings may be different.
