And I am a Fuggles
Hi
Yes, I'm a Fuggles, not a Fuggle! We're a rarer breed. When I first started my researches I found well over 100 Fuggle entries in the UK phone directories but only around 20 Fuggles. But as Frank has indicated, we're all probably from the same roots.
The birth of my grandfather, William, was registered as Fuggle, not Fuggles but his marriage and death were registered as Fuggles.
I've got a record of all (I think) the Fuggles births (168), marriages (123) and deaths (143) since 1837 from the indexes at the Family Records Centre in London and I've got a few certificates for some of my relations (and one or two I thought were!). I have also got a few Fuggle entries where I have been trying to track down Fuggles entries that I can't find.
I'd be happy to share any of this information if it's of interest. I'd also be very pleased to receive any Fuggles information that you may have.
Regards
Martin Fuggles
