george fuester was my great grandfather,when he was 16 he left canada and started walking to arkansas.he would stop in the spring and hire on to help a farmer make a crop for 12 dollars a month and resume walking in the fall.when he was 19 he arrived in pratsville arkansas.he married there when he was 23,started a dairy which he ran till his death in 1905.i read a journel he kept on the trip and in this account of his trip he spelled his name feuster a couple of times.if you want to hear more contack me,william gray
