Looking for more information on the family of Maria Petra Fuentes aka Petra Fuentes who married Fernando Romandias. They had one son Jose Fernando de Jesus Romandia/Romandias aka Jesus C Romandia, who was christianed 8/4/1837 in Hermosilla. The family was in Tuolumne Co, CA in 1850 working the gold mines. In 1860, Petra and Jesus are in Hornitas, Mariposta Co, CA and Fernando is apparently deceased. Looking for confirmation of dates. In 1870, Petra is still in Mariposa Co living as a housekeeper for Pedro Aguirre, a saloon keeper. Pedro's daughter, Narcissa, later married her grandson, Fernando C Romandia. Who were her parents and is she related to Anastacia Valencia aka Anastacia Leba/Leva/Leyva/Seva aka Anastacia Melendrez who also married into the Aguirre family? Cannot locate Petra after 1870.
