You've done a good job transcribing this will. I found it very difficult to read. There are two copies in my possession, the first Rockingham County Courthouse Will Book 1, page 7; and the other from Record of Land Causes #182 pg 111 and 112. They are both copies and appear to be identical.

The document in the Record of Land Causes contains, on page 112, the indenture for land given to Jacob Fudge by his grandfather -- as stated in the will. It is dated 6 May 1803. I suspect there is another document related to John Fudge and his estate on page 110 -- possibly David Fudge.

My cousin and I are translating the signature written in German as that of Hans FOTSCH not John FUTCH. More on that later.
