Posted by: Jan Hensley (ID *****7666) Date: March 01, 2006 at 09:41:07
  of 933

While going through old Rockingham County, Virginia land causes, I found the last will & testament of John Fudge, dated August 8, 1782, probated May 26, 1784. I don't descend from the Fudge family, but they were near neighbors of my ancestors. John's will was witnessed by Bruten Smith, the brother of my 4th great grandfather. I hope this help some Fudge researchers.
