John Fuchs & Catharina Koch, Milwaukee
Posted by: Ellie Depew (ID *****9525) Date: November 19, 2008 at 07:41:44

I am looking for a marriage record for Johann (John) Fuchs and Catharina Koch. They married 1855-1860, probably in Freilander Church in Milwaukee. I have checked the records of the Wisconsin Historical Society, the Methodist and Lutheran archives, and the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. Since the entire family used the Freilander Church until it closed, I am assuming that John and Catharina married there. I am hoping that the record exists, in part because it is a possible source for information about her parents. This information is missing from her death certificate. Any help is greatly appreciated.
