Can you download a Family Tree?

Hi all,

I'm not sure if what I'm asking is possible or not - but I'll give it a go!

Early this year I was having huge problems with my old computer. My A: drive died on me and I had no way of saving all the information I had input - so I decided to upload my data to Genealogy.com so I would at least have full access to the data I had already input.

My computer did eventually die, and I now have a brand new computer with all parts fully functioning :-) (I say this with fingers crossed ; touching wood etc.........)
I even have a CD burner and was wondering if this would be a better way of saving data?? But I digress from my original dilemma................

Now, I'd like to be able to save myself a heck of a lot of work by not having to input the data once again - I was wondering if there is a way of downloading this information as it is all there on the net - but I have no idea how to download it!!!!

Any suggestion, ideas etc will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Julie :-)
