HI, I come from the line of Fryrear's by Francis and Nancy Awbery, James Burr and Dicena Kelly Fryrear, Robert Lee and Sarah Elizabeth Skeeters Fryrear, Elmer Aaron and Mina May Fryrear Terpening, Jack V. and Norma Aileen Terpening Shanks, me Linda. Finding the Fryrear line is going to prove to be a challenge for us all. But I have an idea that I haven't started checking yet, but here it is. The name LeGrand seems to be in the area of the Fryrear's in the Ky marrriages, at least in the Skeeters, Walker's area. The LeGrand name I have also seen as French emmigrants on a ships list. Families tended to travel together. Our oral family history puts them as French, which seems to be common legend. I know that the one of the sons became a minister I think of the Baptist Church in MO. I would have to dig but somewhere in my papers I have the obituary of his wife's death. Just an idea when it comes to the LeGrand name. Thanks for listening, Linda
