My Daniel FRYMIRE in McEwansville, Northumberland Co, PA, had sons:
Daniel P. FRYMIRE (1809)
Samuel C.(1830) (my ancestor)
Thomas Leinbach (1832)
These are five names to try for <smile>, who would have been of an age to have a child or grandchild who was born in 1860 or 70. Unfortunately, I do not have wives or children for any of the brothers, as my uncles were only researching the direct line.
If this looks close, there is a Frymire/Frymyer researcher, Dick Jacoby, who may have more on this line. Unfortunately, he does not have email that I am aware of. I can look up his (snail) address if you like.
Sunbury, Milton, and McEwansville, in Northumberland Co., are all very close together. Have you looked them up in MapQuest or Yahoo? It helps to see the relationship between the towns.
The Frymires were intermarried with Armstrongs and Guffeys -- my own grandfather, several generations later, was Andrew Guffey Shell, named for his great- grandfather.
Hope this helps - and that I've found a new cousin! :-)
NOTE: reply-to address NOT the same as the address you get if you click on my name above this message!
==Marjorie (2g-granddaughter of Samuel C. FRYMIRE)
