We have recently found that Alice Frye's family may have been from Townsend TN. It is also been said that two of her brothers may have died in a shallow coal mine accident in Kentucky. Dates not known. There is suposedly a brother 'Bob' who also worked in a coal mine. We think that he was also a coal miner who worked in a mine that had coal in layers and it could have been a strip mine.
